Holiday party dresses can be SO expensive and really hard to justify since you can’t wear them often. I think one of the best options out there right now for holiday attire is Rent the Runway. And no, this post isn’t sponsored, I just think that it’s a great resource to tap into. Some of these dresses you can rent for under $50! If you haven’t done Rent the Runway before, or you don’t know what it is, it’s a site that rents out designer dresses, clothing and accessories for a 4-8 day time period for a fraction of the cost. You get to pick two sizes that you think will work based off of the reviews and then when you’re all through you just put it back in the mail with the prepaid label and it’s done. Seriously, so easy!!
I also really like that they have people send in pics of themselves in the dress so you can see how it fits. Unless the dress/clothing is brand new there will usually be comments about what age is renting the dress, their proportions, how they rated the dress and any other notes the person feels is helpful. Plus, if you haven’t rented there before, you get 20% off your first order! So you could get a gorgeous dress for an event for under $25! I can’t say enough good things about them. It’s just such a smart solution to not buying an expensive dress or outfit you’ll only wear once. Easy peasy.
