Trifecta Tuesday | Top Picks of the Week
1. Women’s Button Back Sweater Dress
Is it fall yet?!?! I keep seeing all of my peeps back in Atlanta saying how cool the weather has gotten and here I am roasting in 97 degree temps! I mean, normally this is a good thing, but there are so many good sweaters out right now, that’s all I want to wear. So…for all of you who are able to wear fall clothing, this sweater dress is so simple, yet so cute. A sweater dress is just a classic staple you can have in your wardrobe that you can dress up or down depending on the occasion and is such a great piece to layer with. This dress comes in 6 colors (the burgundy, olive and navy are my favs) and is under $70. Typically this site has sales, so if you love this dress, but the price is a little high, just place the item in your cart and check back occasionally to see if there’s a sale going on. Because of the slimmer fit of the dress, this would look great with a scarf and otk boots, or with a blazer and heels. It’ll also look equally as great with a shirt tied around your waist (like in the pic) and some ankle booties. Such a cute dress and the back detail is so cute, make sure you check it out.
2. Little Seed Farm – Treat Yourself Gift
With the holidays coming up, i’m always desperately searching for unique, fun items that I can give as gifts. You never know what gift exchange is going to pop up or what sweet neighbor is going to drop something at your door and you want to be prepared. I usually stock up on items that I can give to anyone that are thoughtful, cozy or interesting (that’s my criteria, ha!). This sweet little gift set fits the bill. I put this under the design category for this Trifecta Tuesday because of the amazing packaging. Let’s not forget I’m a graphic designer, so things like that will catch my attention before any product does 🙂 But thankfully, the reviews on these products are also amazing. This gift set includes a serum, a body butter and a bar of soap. All of their products are made organically and chemically free, so you know you’re giving the gift of pureness. I also love this gift set from their site. Both of these sets are under $40 and you’re supporting a small business which is the best thing you can do over the holidays…and well, always for that matter.
3. Crate and Barrel – Bakers Cooling Rack
I’m not sure why I didn’t know about this great, little invention previously, but I didn’t and now I want one. Anything that makes my life easier while baking is something I feel I “need.” There are so many times that I have to drag out my cooling rack, it’s not big enough, so I have to doublestack the cookies and then figure out where to put the rest of the things. This rack makes it so easy. Just slide the sheet that you used to bake in the arms and done. Also, if you click on the link, slide through the rest of their pics because they also show a great way you can use it as a server with your serving dishes. A multifunctional kitchen item, is there such a thing?! Ha! This little guy will run you under $24, so if you have a baker in your family, might be a nice gift. I mean, there may or may not be a holiday coming up 🙂
