1. Everlane – The Mid Rise Skinny Jean
If you don’t follow Everlane on social media, you’ve probably missed out on these jeans. The company just released a jean collection for guys and girls that’s already mostly sold out. Now, don’t worry, I’m telling you about it, because you can get on the waitlist for them. Depending on the color, size and style, they’ll restock in October or November. They do have a few left in various sizes and styles, but my favorites are the dark rinse, mid rise skinny. First, I can deeply appreciate that they came out with a mid rise version. Does that make me old? I’ve had a really hard time with finding anything besides high and low rise. Who still wears low rise?! 🙂 These jeans come in mid rise, high rise and modern boyfriend. There aren’t a ton of options to choose from, it’s just pretty straight forward. Oh, and the best part? They’re only $68. Ethically made, well-constructed jeans for under $70. Why wouldn’t you want to be on the waitlist?
2. West Elm – Cross-Base Desk
If you’re anything like me, trying to find furniture that you like and is affordable is tough. I like Ikea as far as some of their design aesthetic, but do I want to put it together? Nope. So what do I do? I stalk the West Elm website like crazy. Every once in awhile West Elm will have a crazy sale that lasts only a day or two, but you can find some amazing stuff. I’ve gotten large rugs for $80, duvet covers for under $30 and decor for under $15. Today, I wanted to pass along this desk that I came across. Seeing as my boyfriend made my desk (so lucky!), I’m not really in the market for a desk, but this desk is great for many reasons. One, is that it’s a pretty neutral design. It could go great in a modern space, but also, you can pair it with a more traditional chair and the sleek lines can lean toward shabby chic, rustic, or plain ol’ traditional. Best part is, there’s a sale right now where this beauty is under $220! It used to be almost $800, so this is a deal people. I’m telling you, every once in awhile I come across a good deal, and this one is pretty stellar. Now…who’s looking for a desk?
3. Anthropologie – BergHOFF Leo Pizza Set
Every year when it gets to be September/October I start to think about holiday gifts. I wish I had it in me to be buying gifts all year round, but I just don’t, so for now it starts around the beginning of Fall; such is life. Sets of things makes it easy to give because you don’t have to search for pieces to put together to make that all encompassing gift. This is where this pizza set comes in. Now, I will preface this with the fact that this is not a cheap gift. So don’t think this would make the perfect co-worker gift, I mean unless you really like your co-worker 🙂 The set comes with a pizza stone for baking, a bamboo shovel to grab the pizza out of the oven and for cutting on, and a pizza cutter that doubles as a cheese grater. Hello perfect gift for any kitchen. The price, as I mentioned before is just under $150 but I think all in all this set is quite a nice gift. Or heck, who am I kidding, I’d like it for myself as a gift to me. One for you, one for me. That’s how holiday shopping works, right?
