Let me preface this post with, yes I know it’s not Tuesday, but with all of my travel, at least I made it on the same week! Next week, I should be back to normal and posting all kinds of fun summer things! Thanks, as always for sticking in there with me!
1. Loft – Embroidered Tassel Halter Top
Loft has been killing it lately with their patterns and clothing. Every time I get an email from them, I can’t wait to see what the next new item is. And today’s email is for a flash sale where almost everything is 50% off!! If nothing else, check out their sale to see what they have to offer. This tassel top is on sale for $25 and is SO cute. It would look great with just about anything. Pair with a pair of shorts and sandals, a pair of jeans with it tucked in, in the front, or a pencil skirt and wear it to work with a jacket. It’s a great staple piece that won’t go out of style. I love the little tassel detail, and while tassels are big this summer, they’re something that won’t look trendy once you break this top out again next year. Happy shopping!
2. West Elm – Claudia Pearson City Tea Towels
I know I’ve mentioned this in previous posts, but let me say it again incase you forgot; on West Elm’s website, they have a tab at the top of their page called “local.” Make sure you reference back to it every now and then because they pick up local designers and showcase their product on their website. It’s such a great idea and I love that they’re supporting local creatives. On there right now are these adorable city tea towels. With wedding season in full effect, these tea towels would make a perfect bridal shower gift, or better yet housewarming gift. Or, who am I kidding, if they had a Phoenix/Scottsdale one i’d just buy it for myself! 🙂 Does anyone else have an extensive collection of tea towels, or is it just me?
3. Bed Bath and Beyond – Buy Artland 5-Piece Trifle Bowl
There are times when I look at a cookbook or online to make a dessert and realize I don’t have the proper bakingware. Okay, who am I kidding, this happens to me ALL of the time. Tart dish – don’t have one, mini bundt pans – don’t have them, donut pan – didn’t have one, but bought one last year. Literally, the baking world is full of things that can make awesome desserts, but require some type of certain dish to make them. This leads me to the trifle bowl. I have been dying to make a trifle for I can’t even tell you how long. I would always pass the recipes up, but not now. Just in time for the summer parties, this trifle bowl comes with 5 mini trifle bowls for serving as well – great idea! And side note, I know this isn’t technically “bakeware,” but it’s part of my dessert theme, so I group it all into one. Welcome to my world of creative thinking.Â
