Sweater Weather

Well folks, it’s finally sweater weather in Arizona and I have been on the hunt for some perfect pieces to add to my closet. I don’t really need a ton of sweaters with the weather we have here, so the ones that I do have need to be kept pretty neutral so they can go with everything – scarves, necklaces, shirts underneath, etc. This great cream-colored sweater is from Loft (and on sale right now!) and is the perfect complement to a pair of dark, distressed skinny jeans and an awesome Baublebar necklace. When I looked at these pics I was amazed at how much that teal color popped; I absolutely love it!

This sweater would look just as good dressed up with a belt and a pencil skirt or for a fun weekend look, throw a plaid button down on over it and rollup the sleeves to let the sweater show through underneath. It’s an unexpected look but gives great pattern and texture to an outfit. Pair it with a simple necklace and your top half is ready to go! On the complete other hand this could be uber casual and paired with some joggers, a scarf and some vans and your cozy factor for the day will be amazing. In any case your takeaway from this is – neutral sweater, dark jean – always a nice, classic look.
