1. Topshop Skeleton Body-Con Dress
I’m pretty sure I just found the perfect solution to the ladies out there that don’t want to dress up for Halloween in a sexy cat, clown, whatever costume. This cute skeleton dress from Topshop is amazingly perfect because it still screams Halloween and yet is just a great little cotton dress. It’s the ultimate no fuss solution to that themed party you have to go to this weekend and it’s under $55. I’m not a super big Halloween fan myself, so this dress is just plain wonderful. If I can throw on a little black dress and still look fun and festive (and cute might I add), I’m sold. Seriously, you might see pics of me on Instagram in this 🙂
2. The Dotted Line Party – Day of the Dead Mini Candy Bar Wrappers
While I’m not a huge costume person, I do LOVE me some candy. I also like to give candy out to all of the trick or treaters. Now, mind you I’ve never lived in a house that had a lot of kids come to the door, so because of this I like to find fun, creative ways to hand out the candy. These mini candy bar wrappers from The Dotted Line Party are perfect. They come 16 designs to one sheet of paper and all you do is cut them out and wrap it around a little candy bar. It seems a little time-consuming, but trust me, the outcome is so adorable. I bought a little plastic sleeve from Michaels and stuck four in there, tied it with a ribbon and tag (also found at The Dotted Line Party) and voila! You’ll be the most creative house on the block. Who says you can’t beat that person next door giving away full-sized candy bars?!
Hosting a Halloween party or dinner and need some festive partyware? These black and white striped plates are some of the cutest I’ve seen. They remind me of the Nightmare Before Christmas in their hypnotizing way. The fun part is you can pair these with a pop of color (pink, purple, bright blue, etc.) and it’ll bring your party alive. Because, let’s face it, it’s not just about the food and drink on Halloween, it’s about the decor as well. And your dinnerware should not be the debbie downer of the party.
Have a very Happy Halloween. Stay safe!
xoxo
