Well it’s the first day of September and in alot of places around the U.S. the weather is starting to shift into fall. That means you’re now in that awkward stage of what do I wear. If you know what to look for in your closet the transition will be fairly easy and won’t require you to go out and buy extra apparel.
Here in sunny Arizona the temps are still in the 100s so we’re not quite transitioning yet but I’ve got a head start on outfits that will work and those that won’t for when those temperatures decide to dip. One of my favorites lately is the wide leg pant. I’ve posted recently on the wide leg jumpsuit as well and it’s because wide leg clothing is having a good year 🙂 This wide leg pant from Anthropologie is quite simply an uber comfortable piece of clothing (unfortunately I bought them at the 40% off tag sale and they are no longer available, sigh.). Since it’s still summer here I’ve paired it with a simple white tee and a pair of gold flip flops. I’ve also toned it down a bit with a gold bar necklace. Nothing too fancy, but still well put together. The look is perfect for warm weather and a great starting point for fall.
