If you’ve been online at all lately, you’ve had to of noticed the lace-up flat trend that is sweeping the fashion world. They’re everywhere. And while, I’m not one to jump on trends (mainly because I like a more tried and true look), these flats are just too adorable to pass up. I’m so happy that Old Navy jumped on the bandwagon so the price is affordable! These come in both nude and black and currently are just under $30. I suspect with Black Friday around the corner they’ll be even less. Put them in your cart now and get ready to click “buy!!”
Shown above in the “Crushed Peppermint” color scheme, these little, wool felt balls are so stinkin cute. This store came across my instagram feed recently and I am so glad I started following them. If you don’t know what these are or what to do with them, I’m sure you’re not alone. I think it was last year when I started to see birthday parties pop up with these adorable strings of felt balls for decor and now people use them to decorate for the holidays and I couldn’t be happier. Hello Maypole has made it even easier offering a pre-made string of these for purchase (you can buy a DIY package as well). They even have DIY felt ball wreaths that are killer. Not only would these look great strung around your home during the holidays, but think how amazing these would be as garland on your Christmas tree? There are multiple color schemes to choose from, so whether you’re traditional or more modern, you’re covered.
This isn’t a “for purchase item” necessarily, but it’s a very useful tool to bookmark and come back to when you need it. The link will take you to “life-changing baking hacks” and this is just one of them.
I often times find myself without an ingredient and wondering what I can substitute for the recipe to turn out okay. I imagine for some people that’s not an issue (those same people who don’t measure and just eyeball it…um, crazy.), but I am definitely not one of those people. Google has been my friend in the substitute baking process and now this chart can be my other one. Google meet Buzzfeed.
