Eyelet Ruffle, Oh My! | 04.07.17
I have to say this black and white look is one of my favorites for the year so far. It’s a classic style that you can throw on to go run errands, hang out with friends or travel in. It’s super comfy and all of the pieces are versatile to mix and match in your wardrobe. Let’s start from top to bottom – The eyelet ruffle sleeve tee is just everything (and 30% off today!). It takes a basic tee and ramps it up to be so pretty and feminine. I can’t wait to wear this with shorts or even to dress down a pencil skirt. The distressed black jeans are an item I’ve been looking for forever. I’m really picky with the distressed look because I don’t like anything over the top (huge rips and holes are just not my thing), so I was SO happy when I saw these online at GAP. One, because GAP clothes fit me really well and two, because the distressing is the perfect amount. They even have cute frayed hems; perfection. Last, but not least, these blue, ruffle slides. I get compliments on these sandals constantly, and rightfully so. They are so dainty and incredibly comfortable. I find myself slipping them on to go everywhere! They also come in three other colors, but I fell in love with this cornflower blue shade immediately. Who knows, I may go back for the others soon (especially the gold ones)! And, I forgot to mention, the bag I’m carrying in the top pics is from Papersheep. The owner is a dear friend of mine and she makes the BEST little pouches (amongst other things). They’re perfect to grab and go and not have to deal with the bulk of a purse. I also love them for the beach to throw shades, sunscreen and a book in; can’t beat it.
